Jimmy is a 31 year old striker who has played for many clubs such as Plymouth Argyle, Notts County, Morecambe, Cheltenham Town and most recently Farsley Celtic. Making over 150 football league appearances.

Here is what Curzon manager Adam Lakeland had to say about the signing: ' He is a player I signed at my previous club and was outstanding for me. In my opinion he is one of the best number 9's outside of the football league.'

'He has chosen to join Curzon over many other teams in our division, where he would have undoubtedly got better personal terms and I think that just shows what type of a lad he is.'

'This is a signing that everybody connected to Curzon Ashton should be really excited by. I would like to thank the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and the rest of the board for their support to get this deal over the line.'

We also spoke to Jimmy to get his thoughts on signing for Curzon Ashton, here is what he had to say;

'The manager was a big factor, I have worked with him before and know what he is about and how his teams play. But not just that, the club in general also helped me. I have met Wayne tonight and some of the board and they all seem like honest, genuine people which is very reassuring.'

'I want to obviously bring goals, but I like to think I bring more than that. Helping out players around me, bringing people into play and helping them score more goals too.'
